getotp exists to help people protect their privacy and test or register services. You agree not to misuse it.

You must not

• Use numbers for fraud, scams, phishing, harassment, stalking or any unlawful purpose.
• Create accounts at scale to evade bans, abuse sign-up promotions or manipulate ratings, votes or advertising.
• Use numbers to verify banking, payment, government or other regulated identity services, or any service whose terms prohibit temporary or virtual numbers.
• Receive messages that contain content you are not allowed to receive, or attempt to obtain other people’s messages or numbers.
• Resell access to the service, bypass rate limits or order limits, or probe the platform for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
• Share your account or API keys, or use automation that degrades the service for others.

Enforcement

We monitor for abuse patterns (for example unusually many orders or refunds). We may apply order limits, hold or reverse transactions, suspend accounts and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Funds may be withheld where we reasonably suspect fraud.
